Sarbjit Singh Chadha was exposed to the Japanese Culture at very young age when he was just 15 years old. As a young child he soon learned the language when he was in Japan. He was really fascinated by emotional songs of ENKA. Sarbjit Singh gave his debut on one of the Japanese Television channel. He soon became popular as ENKA singer in Japan.

Young people of Japan have lost interest in the old world sung about in enka songs, but for older people enka is the most essential form of Japanese music Sarbjit Singh became so famous that people started buying his recorded enka songs, it is reported that around 100,000 copies of his songs were sold during that period of time in Japan.

Enka is a traditional Japanese music which depict mainly the emotions of sorrow, sadness and love.
